CUANDO OCURRE ESO, HUYE Y BUSCA REFUGIO EN UN ÁREA ESPECIAL DE LA CIUDAD LLAMADA “ANIMA CITY”, QUE SE CREÓ HACE 10 AÑOS PARA QUE LOS ANIMALES HUMANOS PUEDAN VIVIR. ALLÍ MICHIRU CONOCE A SHIROU, UN LOBO HUMANO QUE ODIA A LOS HUMANOS. A TRAVÉS DE SHIROU, MICHIRU COMIENZA A APRENDER SOBRE LAS PREOCUPACIONES, EL ESTILO DE VIDA Y LAS ALEGRÍAS DE LOS ANIMALES HUMANOS. MIENTRAS MICHIRU Y SHIROU INTENTAN SABER EL MOTIVO POR EL CUAL MICHIRU DE REPENTE SE CONVIRTIÓ EN UN ANIMAL HUMANO, SE VEN ENVUELTOS EN UN GRAN INCIDENTE.
